The Keenon DINERBOT T9 is a high-capacity autonomous restaurant delivery robot engineered to consolidate multiple table deliveries into a single trip, directly reducing the proportion of server time consumed by kitchen-to-table transport. Four adjustable shelves with a 40-kilogram total load capacity accommodate simultaneous service across multiple tables — shelf heights of 19.5, 16.9, 25.3, and 22.8 centimetres handle standard plates, tall beverage carafes, covered hot drinks, and dessert presentations in the same run. An 18-hour battery life on a single charge covers a full restaurant operating day without staff-managed charging interruptions, while the smart auto-charging system handles recharge autonomously during quiet periods.

VSLAM navigation eliminates the need for floor markers or guide rails, building a map of the dining room during an initial session and navigating all subsequent runs autonomously. A 70-centimetre minimum passage width and 3D obstacle perception handle the dynamic environment of live restaurant service — guests pushing back chairs, servers crossing the path, and temporary rearrangements for events. The T9 has been exhibited at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago and is used across restaurant, hotel banquet, aged care, and large-scale event catering environments where delivery throughput during peak service hours is the primary operational bottleneck.
