Description
The Topsky RXR-C10D is a small tracked robot sent into places people should not enter: flammable and explosive atmospheres, post-incident structures, and the confined voids under vehicle bodies and warehouse racking. It carries video reconnaissance and gas detection forward so that the first look into a hazardous space does not cost a firefighter's exposure.
Mobility comes from a crawler chassis with front double swing arms. It climbs slopes of 45 degrees and stairs of 40 degrees, crosses vertical obstacles of 280 mm, mounts a 360 mm platform, and spans trenches 41 cm wide. The swing arms detach freely, which lets the same machine work a stairwell one day and a low crawl space the next. Turning is in place, and top speed is 2.7 m/s under stepless remote control.
Communication is planned for failure. Two-point wireless video reaches 500 m in the open, an optional three-point mode extends that to 800 m for occluded scenes, and if radio is jammed or blocked entirely, a wired control mode operates the robot at up to 100 m. The whole machine is rated IP67, and the tracks are flame-retardant, anti-static, high-temperature-resistant rubber with internal Kevlar and a derailment-protection design.
Chassis, battery and suspension are modular, and a multi-function expansion interface accepts different bodywork modules, so a fleet can be reconfigured for reconnaissance, detection or other payloads without buying separate platforms. Continuous walking time is two hours or more on the ternary lithium pack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reconnaissance in environments too dangerous to enter directly — flammable and explosive atmospheres, fire grounds, tunnel and subway incidents, petrochemical facilities — and inspection of confined low spaces such as under vehicle bodies and racking.
Slopes of 45 degrees or more, stairs of 40 degrees or more, vertical obstacles of 280 mm or more, a 360 mm platform climb, and trenches up to 41 cm wide.
The robot supports wired control and wired video at up to 100 m, so it can still be operated in signal-interference conditions. Wireless video reaches 500 m in two-point mode, or 800 m with the optional three-point configuration for occluded scenes.
Continuous walking time is stated as two hours or more, on a ternary lithium battery.
Yes. The protection level of the whole robot is IP67.
The manufacturer's published parameter table does not state them. We do not estimate figures the manufacturer has left blank — both are confirmed at quotation.
