Description
The Fairino FR16 is a heavy-duty six-axis collaborative robot in the FR-series, engineered for higher-payload, medium-reach automation. Rated for a 16 kg payload across a 1034 mm reach with ±0.03 mm pose repeatability (ISO 9283), it gives facilities the payload margin that 3–10 kg cobots lack while keeping a cobot-style deployment workflow.
That extra capacity widens the range of practical end-of-arm tooling, from multi-cup vacuum arrays and larger grippers to process tools that need additional dress packs. Six rotating joints provide full pose control for approaching fixtures from multiple angles, rotating parts for placement, and running short process paths. Each joint uses dual encoders for added precision, and the open operating platform is supported by a 10.1-inch teach pendant or mobile web app. Typical applications include material handling and kitting, machine tending and fixture loading, welding cells, and end-of-line tasks such as carton placement and tote loading in high-mix flows. Designed for any-orientation mounting and offered with IP54 protection (IP65 optional), the FR16 suits heavier industrial work where smaller cobots run short on margin.
